He wanted to break borders. He wanted to challenge our senses and baffle the human eye. But all he got at Wieden+Kennedy was laughter, disapproval and compassionate smiles. For what? Well for his new NikeID shoes.
But, ladies and gentleman, Paul H. Colman is not a bad taste fool. No, he is a pioneer of the patent leather, a connaisseur of the colour, a legend of the lace…a man who pushed the borders of common sneaker and colour senses to let us all live in a world freed from monotony and boredom.
Everyone can wear white sneakers with a colourful swoosh or three stripes of gold or a blue Converse All Star. But it takes a real man to wear the “NikeID Colman”. So please don’t let him down and fight his capitulation to sneaker facists. Let him life his multicoloured dream and support him in the comments. He won’t say it but I am sure he will appreciate your words of warmness.

I think there are very smart indeed. I’d buy them and they would be my very first pair of Nike trainers. Well done Colman. Very well done indeed.

I am with you Paul. Push the barriers, think the unthinkable (as that guy Tony used to say)
I admire your pioneering streak. !!

I love them – they’re embracing the spirit of individuality in a most fantastical way and giving it a big fat kiss on the cheek. Good job Colman.

What kind of candy do you have that it looks like Colman’s shoes?
These colours can’t be created in a natural way.
